Angela Rogers - Jameel Arabians New Zealand
- On New Years Eve 2004 a very special stallion touched down on the tarmac at Auckland International Airport. This was of
course Khouros - our favourite 'red' horse and we can never thank Mark and Simone enough for letting him
into our lives - he has since brought many wonderful opportunites our way including the sale of his fabulous son JA
Khudos x Redwood Lodge Estonia - to La Plata Arabian Stud in the USA. Those who know Simone will
know how hard it must have been for her to let Khouros leave to come to NZ - I don't think I have ever met someone who has
had a relationship with their stallion like Simone does with Khouros.
Simone has become a regular on the show scene here in NZ, particulary
at the New Zealand Arabian Championships - she is always caring and sympathetic towards the horses she is leadiing and has
always produced excellent results for their owners. Simone has a great repore with her clients and makes a point of keeping
in touch with them. She has a genuine interest in them and wants to do the best by each and every client. Simone has a great
eye when it comes to prepping a horse for the show ring and the horses are consistently well turned out and presented.
I thank you Simone for being a part of our operation here in New
Zealand and look forward to working with you in the years to come.
Thanks Buddy xxx

- Cyprus Arabians New Zealand - I first met Simone at the Auckland Spectacular in NZ, December 2004
showing the beautiful Euralea Spanish Light, on approaching her to see if she was the owner I found out that
she was the professional handler and was having a practice run with the mare, after a chat I found out that Simone was coming
back for the Nationals in March 2005 so I quickly snapped up her services and booked my two youngsters to be shown.
I was not disappointed.
With both my horses having had minimal halter training, Simone worked with them for two days prior to the show with great
response, and I must say thankyou to Mark also who held my filly while Simone clipped her, a last minute decision which I
definately think made the difference on the day!!
My yearling colt "Dundevale
Fire n Flare" and 2 year old filly "Cyprus Alii Esperance" both took TOP FIVE Championships,
and I was ecstatic to say the least!!
I was so proud that day,
and my horses looked amazing with Simone on the end of the lead, they really worked for her. So thank-you so much Simone and
Mark, and I hope to see more of you both in the future.

Chelleason Arabians – “Just want to say a Big
Thank You to you and Mark, you have been truly great to work with. With 6 mares to breed it has been a long breeding
season but you have always made Khouros available and nothing has been a problem or too difficult. For this, I thank you.
I can only say positive things as to our dealings with Sacred Hill Arabians and Khouros
has been a gentleman with the mares. Looking forward to some Golden KHOUROS babies in 2007”

– “Dear Simone, Thank you so very much for keeping me informed of our mares' progress. Lyn and I are so very impressed
with your professionalism. It is so very reassuring from a mare owners perspective to have the stallion owner keep us informed
of progress and even send us photos of our mares to let us know that everything is fine. I have heard so many horror stories
when mares are sent away to stud and not looked after properly, we will be recommending you and your stud to anyone and everyone.
You are a wonderful asset to the Arab world. You will definitely be sent more wine........ thanks so very much Megan

Monavale Arabians and Polo Horses -
Hi Simone and Mark, We used Simone's
plaiting service's on our gelding Chaswyck Captivator's tail, and I think that you would have to have been
blind to miss that tail!!!! It was just BEAUTIFUL and after winning all his saddle classes at the 2007 Pan
Pac's, and with all the great comment's we received....we just couldn't go to a show without that tail!!!!!! So she helped
us continue on with our winning streak not only at the 2007 Arabian Gala Event, but also at the 2007 Arabian Challenge. We
think that she was our good luck charm!!! SO A BIG THANK-YOU TO SIMONE (and her magical little fingers). Tanya

Arabians New Zealand - Bonni Paul - Simone was part of Angela Rogers' team of professional handlers for the
2007 NZAHBs National Show. I was able to secure a schooling session for my purebred
Arabian gelding, "RR Indian Firestorm" on the days leading up to the show with Simone. Smudge,
as he is known at home, responded very well to Simone's fair, consistent approach and the result was a bit of a polish
on his standup. On the day, this stood Smudge in good stead and he looked a million dollars. Simone's quiet manner and
patience helps each horse be the best they can!
Kind regards

Tulgon Estate Performance Horses - Amanda Lugton - I purchased
Zaffiro SHAH, an Arabian Warmblood gelding, from Sacred Hill in November 2005. Knowing
the breeding of this foal, I had been anxiously awaiting his arrival & pretty much the second I saw him, I knew he was
going to be my future superstar.
Not living on acreage at the time, the decision was made that even after weaning, Zaf
would continue to live with Simone & Mark at Sacred Hill. Never for a moment
did I worry about the standard of care that he would receive – I knew that he would be cared for & loved as though
he was one of Simone’s own horses.
Over the past14 months as Zaf has commenced his show career, Simone has been solely
responsible for his training & show preparation, and the results have been simply outstanding. Wherever he goes, Zaf is complimented by judges & fellow competitors on his manners, presentation and
conditioning, not to mention his fabulous confirmation, movement & looks, which are as a result of Simone’s well-planned
& executed derivative breeding programme.
I am so confident in Simone’s abilities & so impressed with her results to
date, that I now have my TB broodmare at Sacred Hill, in foal to Khouros and awaiting an exciting Anglo foal.
Simone’s work ethic is inspiring & her results speak for themselves. I would never hesitate in engaging Simone for show preparation, training, conditioning
or showing, and for a small stud, her breeding programme is enviable. Simone’s
personal touch & close attention to every horse that she manages is refreshing in this industry – every animal is
treated as an individual, not just another number.
