SACRED HILL ARABIAN STUD

We have been operating since 1997 when we purchased our first purebred Arabian, Akam Kublakhan exp NZ/ exp Dubai(SK Shakla Khan imp US X Yukon Park Bint Kamista dec). Khani won numerous Halter champions also being awarded Top 10 Australian Champion junior gelding. The birth of Sacred Hill Arabian Horses began on the purchase of Marja El Kalmir (Amir El Shaklan X Shalana), a stunning bay stallion who achieved numerous Champions, and Supremes under saddle trained by me. His career culminated with him being awarded Arabian HOTY Stallion under saddle 2000 with Shannon Parry in the saddle due to me being 3 weeks off giving birth to Conor. The choice was made to sell him when the decision came on which stallion to keep. In my mind, Kalmir had had an amazing saddle career and it was time to allow someone else that joy so the choice was to keep our homebred 2 year old colt, KHOUROS. Khouros has since become one of Shakla Khan's and Kamista's most successful progeny. He ventured to NZ in 2005 to join Jameel Arabians to be stood at stud for 2 seasons and to compete at the NZ Nationals which saw him take out the major award NZ NATIONAL CHAMPION STALLION 2005. He returned only weeks before the Eastcoast Championships at Future Farms and he did us proud as he always does and received Top 5 Eastcoast Champs Stallion and then travelled to Qld for the Australian Championships where he went on to claim a Top 10 in the huge stallion class, he certainly showed everyone what he is made of and put on an incredible display of movement and stallion presence, giving all that witnessed it goosebumps. He has since gone on to Champion Pan Pacific 07, Reserve Champion stallion Gala Event 07 and Reserve Champion Stallion Qld Challenge 07.
